CallClerk - send an e-mail
notification to your iPhone when you receive a call on your land phone line
With
CallClerk you can send an e-mail notification to your iPhone when you receive a call on your land phone line.
Additionally,
if your modem
supports recording messages you will be able
to hear the message your caller left on your iPhone (simply
by double clicking on the attachement included in the
e-mail).
Here
is an example of what you would see:
Your
iPhone will also allow you to touch dial the phone number
included in the body of the e-mail.
The
following settings can be used to optimize the look and
content of the e-mail for your iPhone.
On the CallClerk
- Settings - E-Mail Window:
For the subject of the E-Mail,
leave all selections unchecked.
In the body of the E-Mail
select: Date, Time, Name, Number, Message
Click the Audio Format button and select
"GSM 6.10 8kHz Mono (~85% reduction)" (to spite the high compression ratio sound quality remains quite good).
